About

Hello and welcome to my blog!  The content here is intended for reenactors, living historians, historical trekkers, and folks interested in history.  Our time and place that will remain the focus of this blog is the 18th century American western frontier, mainly present day Kentucky, but can include the many stages and stops of the many routes to get there.  I intend to present research, my well informed opinion, and first hand experience in the how's and what's of an 18th century fiscally disadvantaged person's life.  I try to be as historically accurate as possible, and when there is a gap in information I will lean towards the historically plausible.  Enjoy!
